Copley 25-25-25, Revere 19-14-17

Katey Firestine compiled 13 kills and three aces Tuesday night to play an integral part in a win for Copley (9-1, 5-0) over rival Revere in a Suburban League American Conference match.

Copley’s other statistical leaders were Shelby Emich (31 assists), Allie Poundstone (four blocks), Kayla Kemer (15 digs) and Lydia Pavlovich (10 service points).

Megan Scavuzzo had 12 assists and six aces to lead the Hornets (6-1, 5-0 SLAC). Kallan Hrics totaled eight kills and three blocks to lead Highland at the net, and Alayna Tessena had eight aces.

Tallmadge 25-25-25, Kent Roosevelt 15-16-18

Zoe Rensel spiked down 10 kills and Maya Dexter totaled 19 digs and four aces to lead Tallmadge. Lexi Gray contributed 19 assists and Sammy Blatt had four blocks in the victory.

Aurora 25-25-25, Barberton 8-13-5

Ollie Salgado made a key impact for Aurora (8-4, 4-1 SLAC) with six aces and 20 assists. Aurora’s other leaders were Brooke Gecina (12 kills), Amanda Chmielewski (three blocks) and Emerson Spiesz (eight digs).

Anna Trowbridge did a little bit of everything on the court for Ellet (4-5, 2-0 City Series) with eight kills, 25 digs, 21 service points and 10 aces. Ellet’s Kaitlynn Wright had 43 assists.

Firestone 25-25-25, Garfield 4-8-4

Emani Myers led Firestone to a victory with four kills and 17 service points. Gina Goggins contributed 13 aces and seven assists for the Falcons.

Lake 25-25-32, Louisville 22-23-30

Deanna Hayes spiked down 13 kills and Abby DeGeorge totaled 24 digs and two aces to guide the Blue Streaks to a win. Lake’s other key players were Olivia Brown (20 assists) and Emma Isroff (four blocks and two aces).

The Knights earned a convincing win over the Leopards on all five courts.

Nordonia’s Isabella Schuster, Olivia Leepart and Alyssa Berardinelli were winners in singles action. Delaney Will and Maddie Owen triumphed at first doubles and Lauren Dusek and Kira Kanor were victorious at second doubles.

Norton 3, Canton South 2

The Panthers improved to 12-1 overall this season under coach Phil Seenes.

Norton won all singles matches with Katarina Jovanovic at first, Addie Kropp at second and Corisa Thomas at third.

Woodridge 4, St. Vincent-St. Mary 1

The Bulldogs improved to 11-2 overall with victories on four courts.

Woodridge’s Maegan Rose and Maddi Najeway earned wins at second and third singles, respectively.

Woodridge’s Aniyah Nixon and Isabella Kohn were winners at first doubles and Aastika Khwatiwada and Morgan Flack recorded a triumph at second doubles.

STVM’s Ella Lewis won at first singles.
