Corn maze near Daleville a tribute to Vietnam veterans

DALEVILLE, Ind. − Landess Farm has created a corn maze for 2023 in the shape of the three solders portrayed in the "Three Soldiers" statue at the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The farm is operated by Jesse and Susan Landess and opens the to the public in the fall. The 10-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides and festival games are featured on Sundays. Tickets are $9.50 each, but all veterans from any era are invited for free.

Susan Landess said her husband taught history and wanted to do something to honor Vietnam veterans to recognize the end of that war 50 years ago.

A special crew was hired to create the maze, which is open through Oct. 29.

According to its website, the farm is open Monday through Friday during daytime hours. It is closed Saturdays.

It is located at 6000 W. Delaware County Road 700-W, in Daleville.
