Corning CC softball releases season schedule

CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) – One of the top college softball programs in the country released their upcoming season slate Tuesday.

Corning Community College revealed its 2024 full schedule and the Lady Barons are primed for another special year. Last season, Corning captured the NJCAA Region III Championship for a third consecutive year and finished as the National runner-up in the NJCAA. CCC fell to North Dakota State College of Science 13-12 in a game that went down to the final out of the two-game series in Syracuse.

Head Coach Stacy Johnson and the staff has again recruited one of the top incoming classes in the region and the nation for 2024. Corning went (38-10) last year and looks to maintain consistency as the season begins February 17 at Lackawana Community College.
