What to know about road closures for Saturday's 'Parade of Lights' in Corning

It’s almost time to make way for Santa Claus and the holiday season in Corning.

Saturday’s “Parade of Lights” signifies the start of another magical season in the city's historic Gaffer District.

The "Parade of Lights" will take place Saturday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the street closures will occur at various times.

During the parade, the south side of Bridge Street near Wegmans and five blocks of Market Street will be closed to vehicle traffic to allow visitors to safely view over 40 lighted moving displays and the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus on a horse-drawn carriage.
