1. Coronation Street: Max is arrested on a serious charge

(Wednesday at 8pm on ITV1)

When Daryan calls in the café with flyers promoting the refugee drop-in session at Speed Daal, Max angrily rejects his offer to join them.

Later, while David prepares tea, he's oblivious to the fact that his son is on the phone watching a livestream of Blake outside the eatery, delivering a racist rant.

With Max still watching, Blake heads into Speed Daal and fixes his focus on Maria, who's delivering a speech welcoming the refugees to Weatherfield. But just moments later, events spiral out of control, leading to catastrophic consequences.

In the aftermath of a shocking turn of events, Max tells Gail and David that Blake is claiming it was his videos that inspired him to do what he did.

Concerned, David summons Adam and Sarah to Number 8, and orders Max to show them the array of the racist material on his computer. As the family reel in horror, Max is warned he could be charged with Encouraging Terrorism, which carries a 10-year prison sentence.

Before Max can process that terrifying prospect, DS Swain walks in and arrests him on suspicion of incitement to murder.

2. Emmerdale: Priya's final week

(Monday at 7.30pm on ITV1)

It's Priya's final week in the village and traumatic memories resurface for her when a veil catches light at Take A Vow's event. Leyla acts quickly and manages to extinguish the flames, while Manpreet and Jai comfort distraught Priya.

Later at the salon, Leyla is stunned when the client, Justin, offers her a job with his London team. She decides to mull it over.

Meanwhile, Priya bumps into Justin outside the HOP and decides to explain the reason why she freaked out about the fire. Impressed by her bravery, he invites Priya for a coffee. When Leyla calls to accept Justin's job, she's horrified to learn he has given the role to her friend instead.

Fuming Leyla accuses Priya of sabotage, and David's not best pleased when he learns that his ex is planning to leave the village with Amba.

As David takes action and flees with Amba and Theo to a remote cottage, Priya is beside herself with panic.

David is surprised when Leyla suddenly shows up at the property, but refuses to listen to her pleas to see sense and ends up locking her in the bathroom. But David may live to regret his foolish choice when Priya calls the police and reports him for kidnap. Can peace be restored before Priya leaves the village?

3. EastEnders: Drama on Lola and Jay's wedding day

(Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

As Jay and Lola's wedding day approaches, the tragic bride-to-be's health is in rapid decline and her confidence is at an all-time low. Jay enlists Kim and Denise's help, and the sisters give Lola a glow-up for her hen do, leaving her feeling amazing and able to enjoy the occasion with her besties.

The next day, Billy and Jay fear Lola is hiding something from them when she's secretive with her phone. Billy decides to swipe his granddaughter's mobile to find out what's going on. Jay reluctantly joins Billy in scrolling through the device, but the pair are caught by Lola, who's livid at them for invading her privacy.

Meanwhile, Phil has a breakthrough in the search for Lola's mum, Emma Harding. On the morning of the nuptials, Billy heads off to Emma's workplace to try and persuade her to attend her daughter's big day.

Back on the Square, a frail Lola confides in Kim that she's experiencing worrying symptoms, and they decide to take a detour to the hospital so she can get checked out.

Jay is furious to learn what Billy has been up to, but soon has bigger problems to deal with when he arrives at the registry office to find Lola isn't there. After a nervous wait, Jay's beautiful bride finally arrives and asks to have a word with him. Will their wedding go ahead?

4. Hollyoaks: Bobby's fate is revealed

(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

When John Paul discovers Mercedes is being held on remand somewhere, he asks Felix to investigate further. But after doing some digging, Felix reveals she was released weeks ago and no-one knows her whereabouts.

With Bobby due for sentencing, JP and Felix ask James to hire a private investigator to locate Mercedes. But it's Felix who eventually finds her hanging out in a chippy, and convinces her to come home.

As the day of Bobby's sentencing dawns, Felix tries to get Mercedes to release her anger during their boxing session, insisting she needs to stop defending her son's crimes. His words finally get through, and Mercedes arrives in court just in time to hear the verdict on Bobby.

Afterwards, in a bid to ease her own guilt, Mercy pays Tony and Diane a visit and drops a huge bombshell on the couple.

5. Emmerdale: Cathy confides in Bernice

(Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV1)

Cathy's erratic mood swings continue this week when she offends Bernice about her menopause, then smashes Heath's prized guitar to pieces. Confused and embarrassed by her outburst, Cathy storms off, leaving Bob at his wits' end.

The next day, Bob and Brenda receive a call from the school saying Cathy has run out of her mock exam. When Bernice clocks the teen hurrying towards Connelton, she decides to follow her.

Inside, Bernice finds Cathy washing her skirt in the sink, and the distressed youngster explains that she's struggling to cope with her heavy periods.

Despite being unable to be honest with her dad, Cathy is comforted by Bernice's support. And after agreeing to go and see Manpreet, she's relieved when the doctor writes her a prescription for the pill.

6. Coronation Street: Daisy's mum arrives in Weatherfield

(Thursday at 8pm on ITV1)

Daisy's on edge as another bouquet of flowers arrives at The Rovers with her name on it, and she receives a call from an unknown number. Justin, the boy who Daisy met at the hospital weeks ago, turns up at the pub and admits to sending the blooms, but denies calling her.

However, the mystery is solved when Daisy decides to call the unknown number and is stunned when her estranged mum, Christina, enters the pub clutching the ringing phone.

Jenny is taken aback to find the pair sitting together, but Daisy is in no mood for a reconciliation as she tells Christina she's not welcome at her wedding.

Undeterred, Christina tries to get Daniel on side and gives him a necklace for Daisy to wear on her special day.

Taking pity on his future mother-in-law, Daniel invites her for a meal at the Bistro, and dupes Daisy into coming too. But while his fiancé fumes at his interference, she's unsettled to receive another message from her online admirer.

7. EastEnders: Ricky proposes to Sam

(Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

While Stacey and Martin try their hardest to support Lily, the pregnant youngster ends up confiding in Kat about the future of unborn baby. Kat takes Lily home to her parents, and as Ricky Jr arrives to check on her, Martin realises the schoolboy is the father of her child.

Martin threatens to inform the Brannings and insists the police must be told, which leads frightened Ricky Jr to tell Sam the truth about the baby. Sam blows her chance to console her son and shatters him by revealing she's moving to Germany.

As Phil and Kat reel over Sam's selfish decision to leave Walford, Sam realises she has got a big decision to make when Ricky gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. Will she go with Ricky and Scarlett and abandon Ricky Jr when he needs her the most?

8. Hollyoaks: Honour confronts Eric

(Tuesday at 7pm on E4 and Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

Honour is alarmed to see posters in the village campaigning for Mason to be expelled from Hollyoaks High, and jumps to the conclusion that Ste is behind them.

Meanwhile, after rejecting Maxine's offer to help him, Mason makes the foolish decision to skip school and visit Eric in prison. Thankfully, Dave is able to stop the meeting from happening, and Honour ambushes Eric by turning up in place of her son.

The prison psychologist is hopeful that Eric can give her the insight she needs to help Mason, but as tensions rise, Honour's temper gets the better of her and she's suspended.

With his mum terrified she'll lose her job, Mason seeks legal advice from Maxine, who promises to find a way to help her. She organises a women's rally in the village, while Dave asks Tony and Diane to prevent Eric from pressing charges. But will their pleas go unheard?

9. Home and Away: Felicity faces her past

(Friday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)

Having gone behind Felicity's back by inviting their foster dad Gary to her wedding, Cash is panicking that he has done the wrong thing. As Gary arrives, Cash welcomes him with open arms, but Felicity is stunned when she returns home to find him in her living room.

Angered by her brother's betrayal, Felicity turns to Tane for comfort. He's sympathetic to her situation, knowing the difficulties Felicity had with her foster parents in the past, but he encourages her to reconcile with Gary. Much to Cash's annoyance, Felicity refuses to even consider the idea, but eventually has a change of heart.

In a moment of vulnerability, Felicity opens up to Tane, admitting that she put Gary and Kath through hell when she was younger and now feels guilty for it. Although she fears it's too late to make amends, Felicity agrees to a meeting with Gary for Cash's sake. But as her foster father enters the room, it suddenly all becomes too much for her.
