Coronation Street newcomer Ryan Early had a previous role on the soap before playing Darren Vance.
The Archers star Early has turned up in the ITV1 soap as Dev Alahan's business partner, and has used Dev's son Aadi to run errands with his wife while the two work on their joint project.
Little does know Darren know that his wife Courtney will embark on a passionate affair with Aadi behind his back. But, did you know this isn't Early's first stint on the cobbles?
He previously guest starred in the soap all the way back in 2011 as part of a dramatic storyline where notorious baddie Jim McDonald robbed the Lancashire & Fyle Building Society.
The situation turned into a hostage crisis when Jim couldn't carry off the robbery quick enough, leading the police to call in Early's character, a hostage negotiator.
The unnamed negotiator had little success in talking down Jim, so he reluctantly allowed Jim's ex-wife Liz to convince him to stand down.
Early has other soap experience from playing Helen Archer's partner Lee Bryce in the BBC's long-running radio drama The Arches.
As far as his current Coronation Street stint, it has already been confirmed that Aadi and Courtney will be caught out over their affair — but will Darren find out?
When Ryan was first cast alongside Courtney actress Stephanie Davis, producer Iain MacLeod said: "In Stephanie and Ryan, we have cast two fantastic actors as the catalyst for this fun, fiery storyline.
"Aadi will quickly find himself way out of his depth as he risks everything for Courtney. And while it is the best time he's ever had in his life, he stands to end up in a whole heap of trouble!"
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
