Coronation Street spoilers: Audrey has drunken fall, catfish drama for Max

Audrey’s shock accident – plus Stephen’s return
Audrey’s drinking habits are becoming an increasing cause for concern, with matters coming to a head on Wednesday when she starts cracking open the wine at work and flirting with Ryan, who’s in for a cut.

After losing her temper with the likes of David and Maria, Audrey is left alone at the barbers where she staggers into the motorbike that’s parked there and falls to the ground.
Audrey will then be discovered the next day by a newly returned Stephen, who’s been summoned back to Weatherfield, only to be left shocked when he finds his mum barely conscious. As Audrey is loaded into an ambulance, Stephen expresses his fury with the family for failing to notice that she’d been missing all night.
Max is catfished
Max is excited about his date with Sonya, who asks him via text to send her a picture of “the whole package” so she knows what to expect. Hence Max returning home on Monday unbuttoning his shirt.
But later on over dinner, a baffled Sonya reveals that she hasn’t sent Max any messages of this nature – or received any either. As realisation dawns for the two of them, Max’s phone pings with a message demanding £1,000 or his naked picture goes viral.
When David then discovers what’s going on, he tells Max that they won’t be paying the blackmailer and he should instead head to school and front it out. But how will Max react when so-called friends Chris and Blake confront him at the bus stop and start quoting his messages to Sonya?
Peter’s showdown with Thorne
Peter is seething about there not being enough evidence to bring Thorne down and resolves to get him to confess to malpractice.
Ignoring Ken and Simon’s concerns, Peter meets up with his adversary in scenes to be shown on Friday. His opening gambit is to demand a full confession, but Thorne susses his game and forces Peter to produce the phone he’s hidden that’s recording their conversation. So, has Peter blown his big chance?
Maria versus the strikers
A humiliated Maria tells Gary that the recycling collectors are all going out on strike because of the extra bins she’s set up.
Fearing the situation is all her fault, Maria visits the team leader at the workers’ depot and says she’ll put in a proposal for a pay rise on account of the increased workload. It’s a move she hopes will get the workers back on the job…
Can Frank be exposed?
Matters have not improved between George and Frank, with the local undertaker continuing to ignore his old persecutor.
Todd then gets the lowdown from his despairing mum Eileen and tells George that they need to expose Frank for being the bully he really is.
Tim heads to sex therapy
Having seen no benefit from the change to his medication, Tim is encouraged by the GP to attend a sex therapy session.
But when therapist Trina encourages Tim to gaze into Sally’s eyes, he starts to feel awkward and slams the session as a total con. Sally can’t help but be disappointed by his attitude.
And worse is to come later in the week when the Metcalfes try a "first date" role play, only for Tim to get distracted by a marital spat between Ed and Aggie – all of which leaves Sal feeling ignored.
