Gary visits Laura in hospital and is shocked at her deterioration. And the dying woman before him has just one wish: to be able to hug her daughter for a final time.

Kelly, though, is in an unforgiving mood and decides to attend the hairdressing awards, despite Gary telling her that her mum has just hours left to live. As it turns out, the event goes well and Kelly wins Best Trainee Stylist. But what decision will Kelly make as Gary makes a last-ditch attempt to convince her to see Laura before it’s too late?

Toyah must find the strength to deal with both the shock news about Imran and Elsie’s adoption process.

Imran, for his part, is steeling himself to say goodbye to Elsie and vowing to Abi that he’ll help her battle to keep her son. But Toyah ends up delivering some shock news: social services have reported Imran to the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority for his involvement in Abi’s custody fight.
