Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has confirmed some big scenes for Sarah Barlow in Super Soaps Week.

The soap is due to air its big week very soon, and speaking to Digital Spy on the NTAs red carpet earlier this week, Tina teased a bit about what fans can expect.

"It involves Stephen, a lot of drama," she said. "It's been a lot of work. I've not seen any of it back yet, but a lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into it, so I think it will be really good."

Asked if she was worried a bit about who the serial killer's next victim may be, Tina replied: "Yeah! I think I might be on that list to be fair… you wait and see!"

Reflecting on a difficult and emotional period for her character, Tina also spoke about what we can expect for Sarah going forward.

"Off the back of losing the baby and straight back into just trying to work, and going through a divorce, and then she starts getting really bad vibes about Stephen, thinking there's something to not trust about him," she explained.

Touching on Super Soaps Week, Tina further teased: "There's this big… I don't want to say explosion, because that sounds like an actual explosion. But there's [an explosive moment]. A lot of information comes out, there's a lot of truth to be told. There's a lot of people that are left reeling."

Speaking about filming, Tina admitted that while it has been "really good", it has also "been a lot" for her.

"I've not stopped working for months, so it's been busy," she said. "But it's been good fun. And I love [Stephen actor] Todd [Boyce] so much. I've loved working with him."

The actress also revealed that she had "absolutely no idea" about plans for the Christmas special, quipping: "I don't even know what I'm doing next week. I'm sure it's going to be amazing!"

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
