Coronavirus Cases Declining Gradually In Ohio

COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio's new COVID-19 cases are declining gradually, according to state health department data.

In the past 24 hours, officials confirmed 1,011 new COVID-19 cases among Ohioans. That's fewer than Thursday's case tally and below the state's three-week average of 1,070 cases per day.

Ohio's other key COVID-19 metrics, deaths and hospitalizations, are holding steady, according to Ohio Department of Health data.

  • New cases: 1,011

  • New deaths: 28

  • New hospitalizations: 62

  • New ICU admissions: 12
