Coronavirus: Global case total surpasses 3 million

More than 210,000 people have died from the coronavirus, according to data from Johns Hopkins University, and over 3 million people worldwide have tested positive. The World Health Organization director said the pandemic was far from over and expressed concern about children.
In the United States, more than 55,000 people have died, while there have been over 980,000 confirmed cases. President Trump's economic adviser said the jobless rates from the coronavirus will be comparable to the Great Depression.
