Coronavirus North Haven: Restaurants Offering Takeout/Delivery

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont has ordered all restaurants and bars to close in an effort to help contain the spread of the new coronavirus. Local eateries, however, are allowed to be open for delivery and takeout orders.

In North Haven, most restaurants are offering delivery and takeout options.

Here is a roundup of what some of your favorite restaurants in town are doing:

Jroos Restaurant, 243 State St., will be open for takeout and delivery seven days a week. Order online or call in at 203-281-5411. “Please enter through our TAKE OUT DOOR only or you can request we walk your order out to you. Please allow 15-20 on pick up orders and up to 45 for deliveries. Thank you for all your patience at this time!”

State Street Cafe, 346 State St., is open for takeout and delivery. The pickup window is open and use DoorDash for delivery. Order online at StateStreetCafeCT.com, call 203-288-1425.

Bellini’s Restaurant, 2 Broadway Square, is open for take-out orders, curbside pickup and local deliveries. Call 203-234-2221.

Hard Hat Cafe, 65 Old Broadway E, is open for takeout. “Keep your friendly neighborhood bar in mind for your take out needs. Every order is greatly appreciated during this difficult time!!” Serving from 12 to 8 p.m. Call 203-234-9857.

Amici Tavern, 43 Broadway, is open for takeout or delivery. Call 203-691-6761.

Moonrise Cafe, 2 Broadway, is open for regular hours. Call in your order to 203-780-8139 for pick up or curbside.

Bagelicious North Haven, 91 Washington Ave., is open for drive-thru and takeout. Call ahead 203-535-0632.

The Bar North Haven, 369 Washington Ave., is open for takeout and delivery through Doordash or Grubhub. Updated hours for takeout, Mondays and Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 to 8:30 p.m.

Grand Apizza North, 448 Washington Ave., is open for takeout and delivery. Updated hours: Closed Monday; open 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

La Lupa Ristorante, 344 Washington Ave., will be “taking take-out and delivery orders only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00-7:00. Thank you!”

Breakfast Connections, 344 Washington Ave., is open for takeout. They are open from 7 a.m. to 12 noon daily. Call 203-234-6100.

Longhorn Steakhouse, 70 Universal Dr., is open for takeout orders.
