At least 80 students living in a dozen fraternity houses near the University of Washington campus in Seattle have reported testing positive for COVID-19, with hundreds of results pending, the university says. (July 3)
RENEE VENTURA: Everyone who I live with is taking extra precautions. We're all going and getting tested this week. A lot of people that I know who are living in or around the fraternities are also taking precautions and getting tested.
JAY VIJANJIT: I have seen people that are just living their normal life. And, you know, if they-- many time they just party and enjoy.
ALI MOKDAD: Young adults are more likely to be asymptomatic and not have serious symptoms.
RENEE VENTURA: I think a lot of young people, and just people in general who aren't taking precautions--
ALI MOKDAD: And that's why we are concerned. We're seeing an increase in cases among the young generation, like young adults.
