STAFFORD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has released the latest figures pertaining to confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
As of 1:30 p.m. Thursday, a total of 1,012 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported among state residents, with confirmed cases now reported in all eight Connecticut counties. A total of 125 patients were hospitalized, and 21 residents have died (13 in Fairfield County, three in Tolland County, two each in Hartford and New Haven counties, and one in Middlesex County).
Tolland County has 33 confirmed cases, with five patients hospitalized. A total of 14 cases have been officially confirmed in Stafford, while Willington has not yet had any. The most confirmed cases are in Fairfield County with 607, or 60 percent of the state's total.
