Coronavirus Testing At Ripken Stadium: How To Book An Appointment

ABERDEEN, MD — After the one-day, drive-thru coronavirus testing event at Ripken Stadium was postponed due to Tropical Storm Isaias, people can now schedule appointments for the new testing event online.

At the stadium, people will be able to drive up and get tested for the virus without getting out of their cars. Those getting tested are advised to wear masks.

A doctor's order is not required to get tested for the virus. Officials say a nasal swab will be collected, and results may take four to five days to obtain. During the time between testing and receipt of results, people are advised to self-isolate at home.

To get tested at Ripken Stadium, people must be at least 12 years old and register for an appointment online.

Here are instructions for registration:

  • Enter your information here.

  • Agree on the consent form page.

  • Click "Ripken Stadium" on the page of testing locations.

  • Go to the right-hand corner of the page where it says "today's appointments," and click instead "Select next available day" because it will say: "Today’s appointments No appointments available for this location on this day, please try another day."
