Coroner called to house fire in Uniontown

The coroner was called to a house fire in Uniontown.

Fayette County 911 confirmed to Channel 11 that crews are battling a structure fire at 6 Elmwood Street in the city of Uniontown.

The fire was called in at 11:32 a.m., according to 911.

At least one person is dead. There’s no word on whether anyone has been taken to the hospital from the scene.
