Motorcyclist killed in York County crash
YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A man was killed in a York County motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon, the coroner’s office said.
The York County Coroner’s Office was dispatched just after 3:30 p.m. for a motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer on the 600 block of W Philadelphia Street at Belvidere Street, according to a news release.

The tractor-trailer was trying to make a turn when the motorcyclist, who was in the other lane, went down and slid under the tractor-trailer, the coroner’s office said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the release states. An identity was not released and an autopsy has been scheduled as his cause and manner of death are still pending.
York City Police are investigating the fatal crash.
