Corpus Christi airport: Southwest Airlines flight delays possible after technology issues
Those scheduled to travel on Southwest Airlines flights out of Corpus Christi International Airport on Tuesday could experience delays, according to the city of Corpus Christi.
Southwest Airlines announced nationwide delays Tuesday morning due to "data connection issues." The airline resumed operations by Tuesday afternoon.
"CCIA understands the inconvenience this may cause passengers and is working closely with Southwest Airlines to keep passengers updated," a news release from the city stated.
A Southwest Airlines travel advisory stated that customers with reservations to or from any Southwest Airlines destination on Tuesday may rebook their travel without additional charge. Customers with reservations for canceled flights may also request a refund for an unused ticket.
