Corpus Christi Hooks: Here's when fans can see Astros' World Series trophy, get replica rings
The Corpus Christi Hooks released its 2023 promotional schedule, including replica World Series ring giveaways, 15 fireworks displays, eight jersey giveaways and appearances by the Houston Astros’ World Series trophy.
The new year has the Hooks playing a total of 69 home games across 10 homestands at Whataburger Field. Opening Night is Thursday, April 6, against the Arkansas Travelers as part of a three-game series. Single-game tickets go on sale at cchooks.com Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Hooks Season Memberships, offering full-season ticket plans and 22-game packages, are on sale. Memberships provide up to a 50% discount on day-of-game ticket prices and include CITGO Cotton Club access, discounted parking, flexible ticket exchanges and more.
Mike Shaw Automotive will have Opening Night T-shirts for the first 2,000 fans and postgame fireworks. Bud Light Friday Fireworks will follow the next days, and the first 2,000 fans receive a Hooks short-sleeve hoodie from Flint Hills Resources. Then Saturday, April 8, the first 5,000 fans will take home a Jeremy Peña replica World Series ring, courtesy of Whataburger.
Daily promotions
Tuesdays: Start the week off with the Mike Shaw Automotive 4-for-$40, offering four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $40. You can purchase online with promo code "HOOKS4FOR40." Tuesdays are also for Conviva Silver Sluggers, a group of 55 years and older that will be able to receive a field reserved ticket to every Tuesday home game (except July 4), a Silver Sluggers T-shirt, a discount on merchandise and more. Wednesdays: Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits will return once again every Wednesday night. Bring a friend for free as fans can buy one ticket and get in free as part of Whataburger Family Day with promo code "HOOKSBOGO."
Thursdays: Welcome to Three Dollar Thursday. Adults 21 and older can enjoy $3 domestic and $3.50 premium 12-ounce draft beer at all stands and $3 off margaritas at Live Oak Bar, Valero Champions Corner and Port Ave. Tacos.
Fridays: The Ballpark by the Bay will light up the night sky postgame with the Bud Light Friday Fireworks.
Saturdays: Hooked on Saturdays will bring premium giveaways including jerseys, apparel and bobbleheads.
Sundays: End the week at a Hooks game with your family for H-E-B Kids Day as kids get to run the bases after the games. Sundays are also Dollar Day featuring $1 hot dogs, soda, candy and Rudy's Prize Wheel spins.
