Corpus Christi ISD Board of Trustees approve new calendar for 2022-2023 school year
Corpus Christi Independent School District's board of trustees approved the new calendar for the 2022-23 school year.
During Monday's board meeting, CCISD's board of trustees were presented with a proposed district calendar for the upcoming school year by the executive directors of school leadership.
Two draft calendar considerations were made after meeting with the Superintendent's Advisory Committee and the District Advisory Team. The two calendar considerations were shared with the public and data was collected for both options.
According to the approved draft, CCISD's new school year will begin August 9 and end May 31.
A final version of the 2022-23 calendar will be shared soon, the district said.
