Earlier versions of these stories on the Record Searchlight's lawsuit against Shasta County over sheriff's office management records included a past comment from former Supervisor Leonard Moty on the whistleblower letter, which should have specified that he had responded to two allegations only with which he was directly familiar.
News: An earlier version of this story incorrectly said that a European firm considering opening its U.S headquarters in Redding had selected Florida instead. News: An earlier version of this story on the Shasta County Board of Supervisors looking for an interim executive officer should have said the $300,000 in ARPA funds will be used to pay for support services for a city of Redding microshelter project. An earlier version of the story identified the wrong project.
News: An earlier version of this story provided incorrect information about the graduation dates and times of the Anderson Union High School District graduation ceremonies. The story has been updated to reflect the correct times of the four AUHSD ceremonies, which will take place on June 10.
Sports: An earlier version of this story included the incorrect scholarship amounts for Record Searchlight Scholar-Athlete winners and finalists. The correct amount is $1,500 for each winner and $500 for each finalist.
News: An earlier version of this story misstated that an American flag was not present during a League of Women Voters forum for Shasta County schools superintendent candidates. Noah Starr, a public library associate and volunteer trainer, confirmed that a flag is in storage and was placed out during the forums.
News: An earlier version of this story misstated the relationship between Crystal Geyser Roxane bottling plant in Weed is operated by a different company than the one that formerly owned the building in Mount Shasta.
News: An earlier version of this story provided incorrect information about the group that is reapplying for grant money to start electric bus service between Redding and Sacramento.
