Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has shared her pride over daughter Scarlett Thomas's acting role.
Scarlett, who plays Izzy Charles on the BBC One school series, has recently landed her first ever acting nomination for her work on the show.
Sharing the news on her Instagram account, the Sarah Barlow actress called the nomination a "proud mum" moment, writing: "So proud of @scarlettjthomas26, she's worked so hard on Waterloo Road and I've absolutely loved watching her portrayal of Izzy.
"Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she's been nominated for an award."

Scarlett has been shortlisted for TV Times 'Best Young Actor' award, competing against the likes of EastEnders' Lillia Turner and Corrie's Jude Riordan in the category.
The actress joined Waterloo Road at the start of season 11 and isn't the first member of her family to star on the show either.
Scarlett's character Izzy is the daughter of Donte Charles - played by her real-life uncle Adam Thomas. Tina played the role of Bex Fisher in 2010-11 during a break from Corrie.
Scarlett's father Ryan Thomas is also an actor, having played Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles between 2000 and 2016.

She isn't the only Corrie offspring in the cast either, as Sally Dynevor's daughter Hattie has recently joined as season 13 character Libby Guthrie.
Waterloo Road has been a springboard for the careers of many young British stars over the past few years, with Emily in Paris' Lucien Laviscount, Jenna Coleman and Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor all getting breakout roles on the show.
Waterloo Road will return for its 13th series on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
