Coshocton Writers Guild to hold book fair

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton Write-On Writers Guild is holding its second annual book fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Frontier Power Community Room, 770 South Second St.

Authors from across the region will be attendance with books to sale and sign for patrons.

Authors include:

∙ Kathleen Martin of New Philadelphia, writer of Christian romances "The Sea Stone Collection" and "Called Back, A Tale of Two Worlds."

∙ Beverly Weneck Kerr of Byesville with the historical tome “Life in the Mississippi Marine Brigade, an 1863 Civil War Diary of George Painter.” She will also be selling books of short stories written by members of the Rainy Day Writers of Cambridge.

∙ Chrissy Hartmann from Wooster will be selling the western romance "Rescuing Whiskey's Salvation," her debut novel. She will also be taking preorders for her next novella, "Cherishing Whiskey's Salvation."

∙ Betty A. Rodgers-Kulich of Orient will be selling the Christian fiction allegory "The River: A Spiritually Transforming Journey." ∙ Cindy Thomson of Pataskala writes adult historical fiction and non-fiction with a focus on Ireland. She's written seven books.

∙ Dominic Gangale of New Philadelphia has penned the romance novels "Love Me Silently" and "The Greater the Love, the Deeper the Grieving."

∙ Stephen R. Cook of Wooster will have the memoir “Lawyer, I Love You! (Law School at 48. My mid-life adventure from law student to professor)” along with "Romancing the Haymow: Affairs of the Heart, Hearth and Harvest," "TACTA 1" and "Hobby."

∙ Wesley McCloud of Newark is a fiction writer with six books to his credit.

∙ Adrian Schaar of Dover has the memoir "David of Muskrat Bottom" about dealing with PTSD following the Vietnam War.

∙ Michelle Gehrt is a Christian non-fiction writer from Columbus with the 52-week Old Testament devotional "Behold, God is Speaking to Us" and "Ancient Paths" about returning to the ancient ways God has intended for us.

∙ Kathleen Fernandez of North Canton has penned two books on Zoar Village - "A Singular People: Images of Zoar" and "Zoar: The Story of an International Community."

∙ Michael Kanuckel will be in attendance from Killbuck.

There will also be books for sale from members of the writers guild. They include "The Woes and Wisdom of Eldercare: An Educational Learning Guide" by Cristie Merce, three books on Coshocton County historical documents by Glenn Kinkade and a book of poetry on the artwork of Vincent van Gogh titled "Bending Toward Heaven" by Sharon Mooney. Sally Kinkade will be selling "The Goose Lady" by Barbara Walsh of Maine about a cement goose her mother from Coshocton dressed daily for more than 20 years.

The guild's 20th anniversary chapbook will be for sale at the registration table for $5. There will also be a freebies table and raffle baskets with tickets $1 each or six for $5.
