Forty may be the new 30, or whatever Sex and the City taught us, but I'd bet money 30 is around the age when things like Costco membership cards start weighing heavily on your psyche. All that is to say it's extremely fitting the amazing Costco cake you see here was created for a 30th birthday party.

Made by Samantha Waller of Samantha Bakes N Cakes, the two-tiered masterpiece would make any Costco fan proud. It's covered in all the food court essentials-hot dogs, churros, pizza, fountain drinks-and bakery faves like croissants and a pumpkin pie.

Even better, there's a Costco membership card decorating the top tier, the exact Costco Wholesale logo along the bottom, and red poles meant to look like the ones outside the store. The attention to detail is truly superb. PLUS, there's a Costco receipt that's fittingly long, with solid dinner buys like ground turkey, onions, and Monterey jack listed (taco Tuesday, anyone?).

The birthday cake sounds like it tastes as good as it looks. Samantha, a Los Angeles-based baker, told Delish the cake was made with a vanilla base and rainbow sprinkles, Funfetti-style, plus a fresh raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream.
