Costco’s Flamin’ Hot Variety Packs Are a Spicy Chip Lover’s Dream

If you’re of a certain age, you probably remember seeing (and scarfing) those big variety packs of fun-sized chip bags. The many snack options they put at your fingertips felt like an opportunity to truly have it all. While the novelty of a variety pack largely wears off once you’re old enough to buy whatever chips you want with your own money, a new pack of snacks should have everything spice fiends are looking for.

Recently, Instagram account @Costco_DoesItAgain spotted a totally hot variety pack of chips dubbed “Flamin’ Hot Favorites” on the shelves of (where else?) Costco.

From what we can see of this bounteous box of spicy goodness, it looks like you’re getting 30 fun-sized bags (adding up to 53¾ ounces of chips) across five different fiery flavors of Frito-Lay chips. Specifically, you’re getting eight bags of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, seven bags of Chester’s Hot Fries (which are somehow different from Flamin’ Hot Cheetos), six bags of Flamin’ Hot Funyuns (which I did not know existed), five bags of Flamin’ Hot Munchies (so basically a grab bag of spicy chips), and four bags of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Limon.

The best part is that because this is Costco we’re talking about, you’re not about to pay a fortune for the privilege (nay, the honor) of gorging yourself on these spicy chips. @Costco_DoesItAgain notes that this box of bold flavors comes at a price of just $9.99. That comes out to three (admittedly not huge) bags of chips for $1, which is a much better deal than you’re likely to find anywhere else.

So if you want to pack some heat into every lunch you eat for a month, or just go to town on some of your favorite spicy bags of chips, you know what to do. Just make sure you also buy a bulkload of bottled water or milk to wash it all down.
