Costco plans Noblesville location. What we know.

Costco plans to open a 160,000-square-foot store and gas station in Noblesville, according to its website, in November.

The project will cost about $58 million, according to permit documents filed in May with Noblesville.

The store will be in a field on 23 acres at 14775 N. Point Blvd. north of 146th Street and Indiana 37, slightly north of the Tom Wood Volkswagen dealership.

A Costco spokesperson declined to provide additional information to IndyStar, saying "it is our company policy to not comment regarding future Costco warehouses or construction until we are ready to share details about the new location."

The Noblesville location will be the fifth Costco in the area, including ones in Castleton, near Traders Point, Avon and on the south side.

This isn't the only members' only store in the works. BJ's Wholesale Club opened in Noblesville last September, the first location in Indiana, and was also planning a Carmel store.
