Costco Is Selling "Skinny" Frozen Wine Pops With 8% ABV

While it's no secret that many of us are ready for cooler weather and all things pumpkin spice, summer is not over quite yet. And honestly, thank goodness because people are spotting wine freeze pops at Costco, and I want plenty of time to enjoy them.

The Skinny Freezer Wine Cocktail freeze pops are wine versions of the SUPER-popular Slim Chillers' Vodka Martini Skinny Freezers, and they sound amazing. Just like the vodka versions, these wine pops are perfect to pop in the freezer (for adults only!) and enjoy by the pool. And because they're wine, I'm thinking it's acceptable to enjoy them even earlier in the day. Outside brunch?

According to the Instagram account @costcobuys, a pack of 12 of the pops are $20.99 and are 114 calories per pop. They also come in four flavors: Blackberry Pomegranate, Orangeberry, Strawberry Grapefruit, and Peach Mango. YUM.

In case you were worried that the wine version wouldn't get you quite as buzzed as the vodka version, each chiller clocks in at 8% ABV, which is the same ABV as the beloved classic. Instagram @sipbitego tried the newest frozen treat for herself and confirmed that it was stronger than she expected it to be. Sign me up!

To say I’m excited about these wine cooler pops would be a gross understatement. I’ve had my eyes open for them since seeing them in a Costco obsessed Facebook group. Today, when I turned the corner and laid eyes on them in the wine aisle end cap I had to have them. And now, I’m the proud owner. I love slushees. I love wine. As with any Costco find, they'll be available at select stores (you can check the availability at Costco stores and other stores here), but a little bit of searching is worth it to find the boozy pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
