Costumes and candy: Here is when trick-or-treating is scheduled for the Erie area
As Halloween approaches, many families anticipate the fun of door-to-door candy collecting, or simply passing out sweet treats to costumed trick-or-treaters. It's all part of tradition and childhood memories in the making.
The trick-or-treating fun for those living in Erie County municipalities falls on Halloween night for most. We've compiled a list of those dates and times provided by many of the area's borough and township offices.
There's more Halloween fun to be had besides trick-or-treating. You can head out to the Erie Zoo for ZooBoo or walk through haunted amusements such as the Eeriebyss Factory of Terror or Ghost Lake Multiverse of Fear. Visit a pumpkin patch, take in a haunted history tour or participate in trunk-or-treat events.
