Check your lottery tickets because Bucks County is on a roll — and this is a big one.
Smoker’s Express, at 813 W. Trenton Ave. in Morrisville, sold a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $2.7 million.
The lucky ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers — 12-25-36-43-44-46 — hitting the jackpot in the Oct. 3 drawing.
As a bonus for selling the ticket, Smoker’s Express earns a hefty payout of $10,000.
Not the lucky jackpot winner? Lottery players are encouraged to check their tickets because more than 62,000 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the drawing.

Powerball jackpot could make one lucky winner a billionaire

The Powerball is now up to an estimated jackpot of $1.4 billion for Saturday’s drawing.
The whopping rollover occurred Wednesday night, after no ticket matched all six number drawn – white balls 9, 35, 54, 63, 64 and red Powerball 1. The Power Play multiplier was 2X.
If a player wins the jackpot on Saturday night, they will have the choice between an annuitized prize worth an estimated $1.4 billion or a lump sum payment estimated at $643.7 million.
Saturday’s estimated jackpot ranks as the third largest in the Powerball game and fifth largest among U.S. lottery jackpots.

It is the first time in Powerball history that back-to-back jackpot cycles have generated billion-dollar grand prizes. The Powerball jackpot was previously won on July 19, when a ticket in California won a jackpot worth $1.08 billion.
The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
Latest win a continuation of Bucks County’s lottery ticket luck
Just last month, American News & Tobacco in Southampton sold a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 ticket worth $450,000.
In late August, a winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket, worth $100,000 was sold at the 7-Eleven at 2760 Trenton Road in Middletown.
In late June, a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket worth $250,000 was sold at Levittown News & Tobacco in Fairless Hills.
Earlier in June, Speedway at 724 Street Road in Southampton sold a winning $3 million Diamonds and Gold ticket.
And in February, an individual playing the Pennsylvania Lottery's "PA Big Winner Spectacular" online gambling game won $256,564.09.
