Could Meghan Markle's Baby Be Born on the Queen's Birthday?
The arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s first child will be quite the celebration!
With The Duchess of Sussex, 37, just days away from giving birth, many devoted royal fans have speculated that the baby will enter the world on the Queen‘s 93 birthday — this Sunday.
The special day also happens to fall on Easter.
It appears fans of Meghan and Harry, 34, are so convinced of the due date that that they’re even making bets — 8/1 odds the baby will be born on April 21, according to The Daily Express.
“Royal fans are sure Meghan and Harry will be meeting their child this weekend, particularly on Easter Sunday, leaving his or her to share their big day with the Queen,” Jessica Bridge of U.K. gambling company Ladbrokes told the outlet.
Princess Charles and Camila, Duchess of Cornwall also dropped a major clue about Meghan’s due date earlier this week when they announced their visit to Germany on May 7.
The three-day tour will begin in Berlin and take them to Leipzig and Munich, where they will carry out a series of engagements to strengthen the relationship between the U.K. and Germany.

Since Charles, 70, and Camilla, 71, are expected to be nearby when Meghan and Prince Harry’s child is born, it can be assumed that Baby Sussex will be born prior to their May 7 trip.
During Camilla‘s historic visit to Cuba with Prince Charles last month, she was heard telling an American fan who asked if she was excited about Baby Sussex, “Yes, very much so.”
And just one day after Meghan’s pregnancy news broke, Charles was spotted on a whiskey distillery tour in Scotland. Asked if he’d toasted to the happy announcement yet, he replied, “Oh yes, absolutely. Several times.”
In addition to the baby’s due date, Ladbrokes is also taking bets on the the baby’s name. Many are banking on a nod to Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.
Meanwhile, Victoria remains the favorite name at 8/1 odds, Diana takes the second spot on the list of girls’ names with 12/1 odds.
As for boys’ names, it’s a tight race between Albert, Arthur and Phillip – all tied at 10/1.
Other names in the running include Alice, Alfred, Charles (for the baby’s grandfather!), Elizabeth (after the Queen, of course), James, Mary, Alexander and Alexandria.
Meghan and Harry have been open to name suggestions during the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy. During their visit the town of Birkenhead in January, the royal parents-to-be were excited to speak about their bundle on the way with the crowd gathered at Hamilton Square. A 7-year-old girl named Megan Dudley even offered a name suggestion for the baby.
Dudley told reporters, “I asked her whether she would call her baby Amy if she has a girl, and she said, ‘That’s a really pretty name, I like it. We’ll have to think about it.’ “
