The tiny house movement is—ironically—very huge. Folks across the country are downsizing their regular-sized homes and immersing themselves in a different, more sustainable way of living. While some families pack their lives into one mini property, others get creative, like the Brinks, a family of four in Kentucky who created their own six-part tiny home village. If you're a fan of FYI's series Tiny Home Nation (available to watch on Netflix) or have been contemplating the idea of a smaller space, we've compiled a list of 40 of the best tiny homes to buy off Amazon right now. However, before you add a home to cart (what a wild thing to say!) you may want to give your luck a try with Omaze's amazing tiny home contest, which also supports a great cause!

Omaze, an online fundraising platform for non-profits, is currently holding a contest where you can win your own tiny home completely tailored to you. Modern Tiny Living, a tiny home design and construction company, will build the winner his or her *ideal* tiny home. Whether this dream dwelling includes solar panels, a party deck on the roof, cozy sleeping lofts, a home office, or whatever else your heart desires, the team will work with you to make it happen. Basically anything goes as long as it doesn't total over $100,000 (luckily, taxes are all included). As the contest description says, "it’s four walls, a roof and plenty of room for all your dreams."

To enter the sweepstakes, no donation or payment is necessary, however, it is encouraged—and it will up your odds of winning. The contest is in collaboration with People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), a California organization on a mission to end homelessness in the Golden State. Donations to PATH will help fund its latest project of building a community hub for the homeless to gather. If you donate $10, you'll receive 100 sweepstakes entries, donate $25 and you'll receive 250 entries, donate $50 and you'll receive 1,000 entries, and donate $100 and you'll receive 2,000 entries. Those who donate will not only have a better chance of winning their tiny dream home, but will get their name featured on the wall of the upcoming hub, which is being built on the first floor of PATH’s current building. This community hub will provide homeless individuals with vital support services.
