Council to hold annual nonprofits' request session Monday

Jul. 21—The Decatur City Council will hold a called work session Monday at 1 p.m. to hear non-profit agencies' appropriation requests for the fiscal 2023 budget.

The meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall is scheduled to end at about 4 p.m.

Chief Financial Officer Kyle Demeester told the council earlier this week that he has begun working on the new budget with city directors. The budget year will run from Oct. 1 to Sept. 31, 2023.
