Country Financial opens Tifton office

Aug. 30—TIFTON — Despite starting small, representatives said the the newest branch of Country Financial is eager to make a big impact.

The insurance company celebrated the opening of its newest branch in Tifton with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, courtesy of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce. As the sole operator and employee of this new branch, Gina Miller of Country Financial has her work cut out for her but she said she is eager to get to work.

"I started with the company in 2020, the very end of 2020, and I originally started with client services," Miller said. "The opportunity came up for an agency to be opened in Tifton, I saw the opportunity and decided that's what I wanted to do."

With the new location, Miller will be able to provide residents with services relating to home, life and auto insurance as well as financial and retirement planning.

Miller held a commemorative open house in partnership with Donatello's.

Moving forward, Miller said she is eager to continue growing her fledgling office, supporting the community and building a staff. She has her sights set on opening a satellite office once Country Financial has made a significant enough foothold in Tifton.

Country Financial's new Tifton office can be found at 105 W. 2nd St. and is open 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. every day but is closed 2-3 p.m. For more information, call (229) 253-0914.
