New country music festival in West Chester to bring Dan + Shay, Chris Young, more

Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Chris Young and Alabama are coming to Greater Cincinnati next year for a new country music festival.

The inaugural Voices of America Country Music Fest will take place over three days, Aug. 11-13, 2023, at the Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester.

More than 30 country artists will perform at the event, according to a press release, including the four headliners. Riley Green, Jake Owen, Gabby Barrett, Jo Dee Messina and Frank Ray are also featured on the lineup, among others.

The inaugural festival will coincide with West Chester's bicentennial year.

“West Chester is thrilled to host the Voices of America Country Music Festival in 2023, bringing thousands of people to our hometown as we celebrate our bicentennial year,” Larry Burks, West Chester Township administrator, said in a statement.

The festival is being produced by Further Concepts, a Cincinnati-based entertainment company. Along with live music, the event will also feature Cincinnati food vendors, "unique onsite activations" and an appearance from the Cincinnati Reds, the release said.

“West Chester is the perfect fit for the Voices of America Country Music Fest; the township and Travel Butler County helped create the perfect combination for the longevity and success of this new event,” Tyler Wogenstahl, president of Further Concepts and Investors, said. “With a unique balance of headliners and up-and-coming country artists, this will be Southwest Ohio’s largest country music festival."
