Last September, country music star and "American Idol" judge Luke Bryan's stop in Livingston County on his Farm Tour 2021 was easily the largest concert of its kind to come to the county.

The concert, which took place in a family's Conway Township hay field, drew about 20,000 fans.

Bryan announced Friday in a Facebook post that his Farm Tour 2022 will include a return to the Kubiak family's farmland.

The country star and other musical acts will perform Sept. 17 on the third leg of the six-stop tour.

According to Bryan's Facebook post: "#FarmTour is back! All year long, I look forward to playing small towns while lifting up the American farmer. This year, I’m bringing along my buddies Riley Green Jameson Rodgers The Peach Pickers and DJ ROCK."

Tickets go on sale May 5.

Bryan's previous concert took place in the Kubiak family's 40-acre hay field, which is located on Sherwood Road, a short distance from their main farm between Webberville and Fowlerville.

The hay field was completely transformed for the show with a large stage, video screens and lights, vendors, and merchandise booths.

In anticipation of the show, the family harvested hay and made other preparations on their land. They feed hay to their large herd of cattle.

Bryan is the son of a Georgia peanut farmer and initially launched the Farm Tour as a tribute to farmers.

Caleb Kubiak said Bryan's team told the family the previous concert worked out very well.

"I was excited to have them come back again," Kubiak said. "My favorite part was just getting to experience it and see all the people, and see how much happiness it brought others."

Last time, Bryan brought members of the family up on stage to thank them.

"It would be cool to go up there again and get to do that. It was a very cool experience," Kubiak said. "It's for the farmers and to show appreciation for them."
