Country music star Maren Morris and Lindsey Stirling play the Iowa State Fair this summer

The Iowa State Fair announces two new concerts taking over the Grandstand this summer.

Platinum-certified country artist Maren Morris plays the Grandstand on Thursday, Aug. 17, and electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling takes the stage on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Both concerts go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

Morris earned a Grammy Award nomination for her third album, “Humble Quest,” which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Some of her biggest songs include “The Middle,” “Chasing After You,” “The Bones,” “Craving You” and “I Could Use a Love Song.”

Her Aug. 17 show marks the first time she has played at the Iowa State Fair. Special guest Lindsay Ell opens the 8 p.m. show.

Tickets range from $35 to $60.

Stirling offers choreographed violin performances at her shows and on her YouTube channel. She performs a variety of musical styles ranging from classical to pop and rock to electronic dance music.

Previously, Stirling performed on “Dancing with the Stars” and “America’s Got Talent.”

She performs with special guest Walk Off The Earth at the 8 p.m. show. Tickets range from $25 to $55.

The Iowa State Fair already announced four other shows: For King + County with special guest We The Kingdom on Thursday, Aug. 10; Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line with Parmalee on Friday, Aug. 11; Eric Church with special guest Jackson Dean on Sunday, Aug. 13, and The Chicks on Saturday, Aug. 19.
