As country recognizes Juneteenth, here's a list of Black-owned businesses in Springfield

As Juneteenth approaches, here is a list of some Black-owned businesses in Springfield courtesy mostly of AllThingsBlackSGF.com.

AllThingsBlackSGF is a website created in 2020 by local software developer Duan Gavel.

After moving to Springfield from Kansas City, Gavel wanted to support Black businesses but he had a hard time identifying them, so he started the website to make things easier for himself and others. His goal was to help Black people in Springfield engage with one another and ultimately stay so the city becomes more diverse.
