Country singer Morgan Wallen has added a Kansas City date to his One Night at a Time World Tour.

He will play Aug. 1 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Advance registration is open and will run through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 1, after which fans will be randomly chosen to get codes for access to presale of tickets.

Wallen faced several controversies in 2020 and 2021. Among them, video emerged of Wallen in February 2021 using a racial slur, and radio stations across the country pulled his music. He also was banned from the American Music Awards. Earlier, Wallen had been canceled as a performer on “Saturday Night Live” for breaking COVID-19 restrictions.

This year, however, his third studio album, “One Thing at a Time,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and all 36 of the album’s songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

Wallen performed April 30, 2022, at the T-Mobile Center.

Kane Brown, who wore a Patrick Mahomes jersey when he performed here in 2019, will return for a concert April 11 at the T-Mobile Center.
