Country Thunder Arizona has lined up some of country music's biggest stars for 2022.

Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line and Riley Green are headlining the four-day festival's return to Canyon Moon Ranch near Florence from Thursday, April 7, through Sunday, April 10.

They're joined by Hardy, Gabby Barrett, Randy Houser, Chase Rice, Lindsay Ell, Michael Ray, Tracy Lawrence, Jameson Rogers, Phil Vassar, Blanco Brown, Sawyer Brown, James Barker Band, MacKenzie Porter, Maggie Rose, Jackson Dean and Tyler Braden, with more artists to be added closer to the date.

In a news release, Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO Troy Vollhoffer said, “It has always been customary for us to begin our festival run in Arizona. It’s the perfect place to start on a high note — the weather is perfect, the fans are stoked and it really sets the stage for another exciting year of music festivals."

The organization also hosts festivals in Iowa, Saskatchewan, Wisconsin, Alberta, Florida and Bristol, Tennessee.

“It felt amazing to be together again in October, but we knew that we had to deliver again in 2022," Vollhoffer added. "This is the line-up that our Arizona fans have asked for, and we’re thrilled to give it to them.”

Country Thunder Arizona 2022 headliners

Wallen's appearance was announced from the stage at Country Thunder Arizona on Saturday night, drawing some of the biggest applause of the evening.

The singer was supposed to headline this year’s festival but canceled all his summer dates and Country Thunder Arizona after a video surfaced of him hurling the N-word and other profanities at a carload of friends outside his Nashville home.

Despite the controversy, Wallen's latest album, "Dangerous: The Double Album," topped the Billboard 200 album chart for 10 consecutive weeks while sending "7 Summers" to the top of Billboard's Country Songs chart and earning more than 7 billion streams.

This is Shelton's seventh time at Country Thunder Arizona. He last headlined in 2017 and proved to be perfect choice to headline Country Thunder's fourth and final night.

The man is practically the unofficial Goodwill Ambassador of Modern Country Drinking Songs. And it doesn't hurt that he brings 21 chart-topping country singles to the mix, from "Austin" to the Gwen Stefani duet "Happy Anywhere."

Florida Georgia Line return to Arizona for the first time since 2019, when the Can't Say I Ain't Country Tour brought the duo to Ak-Chin Pavilion. They bring 13 country chart-toppers to the occasion.

Riley Green's last time in Arizona was as a support act on Dierks Bentley's Beers on Me Tour earlier this year.

Green was named 2019's New Male Artist Of The Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

How to buy tickets for Country Thunder Arizona 2022

Within a week of Eric Church bringing the 2021 festival to a close, reserved seats and campsites for 2022 had sold out.

Four-day GA passes and the Platinum Experience are, however, still available at countrythunder.com or by phone at 866-388-0007.

At least for now.

A general admission ticket gives you access to all general admission areas, stages and campgrounds.

You may bring your own chair and/or blanket, as general admission is lawn-style seating.

Kids 10 and under are welcome for free in general admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Single-day tickets may become available as the festival nears. In October, Country Thunder's director of marketing and media relations Gerry Krochak said, "Sometimes when a multi-day event sells out in advance, there is not a single-day option."
