ROCKINGHAM — At 3:14 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on McDonald Church Road following a report of a suspect establishing false financial accounts. The case is active.

ROCKINGHAM — At 10:38 a.m., police responded to Fairfield Inn & Suites on West Greene Street following a report of an unknown person stealing a black 9MM Taurus, valued at $300, and a green holster, valued at $35, from a room. The case is active.

ROCKINGHAM — At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a residence on Rockingham Road following a report of a suspect being drunk and disruptive at a business and home. The Rockingham Police Department charged Jennifer Cox McLendon.

ROCKINGHAM — At 12:43 a.m., police responded to West Broad Avenue following a report of a suspect possessing 21.5 grams of methamphetamine, 5.68 grams of marijuana, and $1,233 in cash. The Rockingham Police Department charged Charles Harrison Horne II.

ROCKINGHAM — At 12:42 p.m., police responded to Starlight Drive following a report of a suspect discharging a firearm in the city limits. The case is inactive.
