County library system expands Frazier Park branch hours
Nov. 20—Attention bookworms: The Kern County Library Department announced Monday it will expand hours of operation at its Frazier Park branch starting Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Under the new schedule, the library will be open five days a week, with the following hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The location will be closed Monday and Sunday.
The expanded hours, according to a county news release,are funded through the county's Measure K tax, which pays for various public services.
