The county is making up to 63 acres available there for private development of an employment site in industries like manufacturing or research and development. A total of 27 to 45 acres at the site would be available for development. The county is seeking letters of interest from acquisition and development teams.

The county’s primary goal is to facilitate private-sector development of the property with the aim of kickstarting economic development activities that will increase job opportunities and diversify the local economy, according to the request for letters. “The proposed development should be of high-quality design in an urban form.”
