County all-star basketball games to be played April 29 at Camarillo High
The Ventura County Basketball Coaches Association (VCBCA) will hold its annual Girls and Boys All-Star Games on Saturday, April 29, at Camarillo High School. Game times are 5 and 7 p.m., respectively.
VCBCA All-County first- or second-team selectees are invited each year to participate. The rosters are still being finalized.
The coaches are selected on rotating basis. This year's girls coaches are Keiani Albanez of Oaks Christian for the East and David Guenther of Oxnard for the West. This year's boys coaches are Craig Griffin of Simi Valley for the East and Mark Blankenship of Fillmore for the West.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for seniors, active military, and children 8-17. Children and youth wearing their school or youth team jerseys are admitted free. There is no charge for parking. Cash only please.
