Couple identified after apparent murder-suicide in Portales last Thursday
A couple in Portales, New Mexico was found dead after one person was shot multiple times and the other suffered a self-inflicted wound, according to authorities.
Deputies from the Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office were dispatched on July 27 to 1919 Westview Garnet Road for potential gunshot victims.
Upon arriving on the scene, deputies found Elisa Aleman, who had been shot multiple times in her torso by her husband.
Aurelio Flores was found in the same room as Aleman with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
