Couple photographs beast moving outside a train in Colorado. ‘I think it’s Bigfoot’

Everyone knows its name — that sneaky Sasquatch, a 7-foot-tall creature covered in thick, brown fur who has been often highlighted by blurry photographs and grainy videos.

Bigfoot.

A couple on a train through Colorado managed to catch some clear shots of a large, hairy creature they believe to be the legendary beast whose supposed footprints were first highlighted by journalist Andrew Genzoli in 1958.

“It’s story time y’all!” Shannon Parker posted to Facebook on Oct. 10. “On Sunday, October 8, 2023, Stetson Tyler and I took the Narrow Gauge train ride from Durango to Silverton. After leaving Silverton and heading back to Durango, I asked Stetson to help me look for elk in the mountains . As we are passing by the mountains, Stetson sees something moving and then says, ‘I think it’s Bigfoot.’”

While the couple took photos, Brandon, the person sitting next to them managed to capture a video of a large furry something moving through the grass, Parker said.

After the encounter, Parker is a believer.

It was at least six, seven feet or taller. It matched the sage in the mountains so much that he’s like camouflaged when crouching down…if you asked before our trip we would have said maybe [Bigfoot] could be real, but now we’re convinced,” she told the New York Post.

While some in the comments of their Facebook are calling whatever they saw a “Halloween costume,” the couple still found fellow believers.

“Looks right to me!” someone commented on the post.

The elusive creature has been thrust into the spotlight in film and print over the years and has turned into somewhat of a media icon, History.com notes.
