This Couple Took Their Wedding Photos at Costco, and They’re Actually Super Cute

When making a Costco trip, you probably know it’s wise to make a plan of attack (otherwise you’ll go in for a few groceries and end up buying a kayak). But it’s safe to say that Jessica and Brandon—two random strangers from Waipahu, Hawaii—were not prepared for what they’d find on their trip to Costco this time around.

Jessica was standing with her roommate debating a mac and cheese purchase (because what’s a trip to Costco without second-guessing everything you buy?) on her Instagram story. She was filming herself saying out loud how she wished mac and cheese was healthy. Brandon heard her, and he took his shot.

According to Delish, Brandon said, “It’s good for you. It’s cheese—and it’s Costco.” While we can’t quite agree with Brandon’s nutrition logic, we have to give him points for his creative pick-up line.

Three months later, the couple went on their first date and, as they say, the rest is history. Now they’re married, and, as if that *cheesy* love story isn’t magical enough, it gets better. The couple had wedding photos taken in Costco a month after they were married. Yup, you heard that right. WEDDING photos.

“We didn’t really think we were going to do it, and we did,” the couple told Delish.

The couple's photographer, Lisa Rankin, said, "It was actually a joke the three of us had since I did their first shoot back in 2018. I asked if they’d be interested in doing a shoot for me, just to get some creative ideas out. Getting to know their story more and finding out they met at Costco, I said 'If you ever get married we’ll shoot in the Mac & Cheese aisle.'"

So, that's exactly what the couple did. Rankin said, "The Aloha Spirit was out in full force that day. Everyone was congratulating them on celebrating a month of marital bliss (we took these photos a month after their actual wedding day.) Little girls were looking at Jess as if she was a real-life princess, and even the workers at Costco had smiles on their faces. A few workers even stopped traffic for us so we could safely capture the running shots in front of the store. The whole thing just brought so many smiles."

From posing with their wingman (mac and cheese) to romantically feeding each other a slice of pizza, this Costco wedding photoshoot is perfection. And while Jessica and Brandon enjoy their Sunday Fundays at Costco, I’m headed there right now. For mac and cheese, of course.
