This Couple Took Wedding Photos at the Subway Sandwich Shop Where They Met
As wonderful as it would be to eat every meal at Noma, most of us probably spend more time grabbing quick meals than we do at formal restaurants. And so as cool as it would be to say you met the partner of your dreams while dining at Eleven Madison Park, the sheer odds are you're much more likely to meet your future spouse at a McDonald's or Burger King or whatever your fast food guilty pleasure may be.

For Julie Bushart and Zack Williams, that fast food lunch happened at a Subway. And though many people might choose to gloss over how they met at the most prevalent sandwich chain on the planet, this recently-married couple decided to embrace their meeting place, even taking wedding photos outside of the location where they stumbled upon each other.

"Zack and I met on December 8th, 2017," Bushart explains on the pair's wedding page. "I took the day off work to do some shopping with my mom for my birthday, so we popped into Subway for lunch (our fav!). We walked in and standing in front of us was this gooood looking guy."
Apparently, Julie's mom was so insistent that Julie give him her number, that mom herself handled the job. "When he got up to leave, I never saw my mom move so fast," Bushart continues. "She caught up to him before he got into his car (as I'm watching from inside, absolutely mortified) and gave him my number. He called me a half hour later and the rest is history. Talk about the ultimate wing-MOM! Our first date was two days later."
Needless to say, Subway was enamored with this story as much as Julie's mom was with Zack, and so after the couple reached out to them, the chain set up everything for photos outside of their Livonia, Michigan shop, including a Subway wrapped convertible. The pair popped by the restaurant between the ceremony and the reception and the results will forever live in their wedding album.

"We're just so grateful that Subway was willing to put on the photoshoot," Bushart stated. "It is a day that we will never forget!"
Additionally, Subway sent over free late-night snacks for everyone after the reception, including the couple's favorite sandwiches: an Italian BMT and a ham and American cheese.
