Couple's Story of Starting an Animal Sanctuary in Tenerife Couldn't Be More Inspiring

The Canary Islands in Spain are a picturesque tourist hotspot all year round, but if you look closer, there's a sad truth. Unfortunately, there are abandoned animals all throughout the islands. That's why a dynamic duo decided to create an animal sanctuary on the island of Tenerife.
These two decided to share their story in a TikTok clip posted to @tenerifehorserescue. Four years ago they set out to start the animal sanctuary of their dreams, despite the fact people thought it was impossible with no financial help. But thankfully, they didn't listen and what they created is simply amazing.

Wow! It truly doesn't get more inspiring than this! Since they start 4 years ago, the sanctuary rescued over 500 animals. From horses and turtles to pigs and chickens, they've helped them all!
