The following cases were handled in local magisterial district courts, according to records:

— Charges for fleeing or attempting to elude police and three summary traffic violations filed against Jose A. Osorio Soto, 28, Hazleton, by state police at Hazleton after a Sept. 4 incident were withdrawn. A summary count of disorderly conduct was moved from the criminal case to a nontraffic citation, which he pleaded guilty to March 17. He entered the plea before Magisterial District Judge Michael Dotzel, Wilkes-Barre, who ordered him to pay $187.25.

— An entire criminal case against Jordan L. Bruce, 34, Lansford, was withdrawn April 7 by borough police who originally charged him with simple assault and harassment following a Nov. 29 incident.
