Court finds probable cause in Rosaly Rodriguez murder trial

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The case of a man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend in Chippewa County more than 3 years ago will continue. 26-year-old Jose Dominguez-Garcia appearing in court for a preliminary hearing today (2/20/24). The court found probable cause and bound him over for further proceedings.

Dominguez-Garcia is accused of killing his girlfriend, Rosaly Rodriguez. He is facing 1st-degree intentional homicide charges, along with hiding a corpse.

In October 2020, Rodriguez’s body was found at an abandoned farm in the town of Wheaton. She was pregnant at the time. An arraignment will be scheduled at a later date, and bond was continued.
